Love the place! Thoughtful amenities like cell phone chargers next to the beds, pet amenities, and coffee provided. It’s a beautiful home away from home in a quiet area. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area and would go back again. Great trip!

We had a really nice relaxing weekend. The house is small but so cozy and SO clean and organized!! We loved being able to bring our dog along and appreciated the amenities for dogs, including food & water bowls and couch covers.
The house is not too far from Lowe’s grocery store and Banner Elk restaurants/activities. The kids loved the basement game room. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The location couldn’t be better — a charming, walkable town with easy access to great restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. The space was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The host was incredibly gracious and responsive, providing clear communication and helpful recommendations throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

My wife and I along with our dog Hank had a fabulous stay! This historic home has it all. The location is perfect for strolling to downtown NB. The home itself was spotless and was stocked with anything you might need for your stay. The layout is perfect for 4 people who would have their own private sleeping and bath spaces. We used the kitchen which had everything needed to provide a great cooking experience. Our dog Hank loved the enclosed backyard and deck area. We stay at a lot of Airbnb’s and this home in every respect is a 10/10. Our host Tonyia was very proactive with all communication and was always available for any questions if needed. Yes, we are planning a return trip for our next visit to New Bern and will look forward to another stay in this wonderful historic home.

Tonyia & Jon did an amazing job making the house feel so warm and beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was thoughtfully prepared, and they even provided bowls and toys for our dogs, which we truly appreciated. Thank you so much for your care and attention to detail — it made our stay perfect for my family. We would absolutely love to come back again!

The decor was well updated but still had the character of the home. Owner had thought of all of the essentials. Beds were comfortable. For families with kids, the downstairs bedroom offered the.lm their own private space to hang out when they wanted.

Loved the downstairs game room that the kids truly enjoyed. Everything was really clean and neat.
Close to Blowing Rock NC and Banner Elk .

We had a great stay at Tonyia’s place in New Bern. A short walk to downtown and it gives the old New Bern vibe. Adorable place. We had everything we needed.

We were very comfortable and Tonyia thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. We enjoyed relaxing outside together. We were close enough to get to a few hikes at Linville Falls and other area hikes. We enjoyed the Linville winery. Would recommend and stay again if we come back to the area.
