This historic home dates back to the mid 1700’s and has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Complimentary beach cruisers. Well behaved dogs current on flea/tick preventative welcome.

We have designed Alston-Charlotte House with our guests in mind in hopes that they have a truly enjoyable stay. The home is a quaint, updated cottage designed to help you relax and unwind. Located in walking distance of all that downtown New Bern's Historic District has to offer. Downtown New Bern is a place full of history, old world charm, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, antique stores and much more. We had a wonderful stay! The location couldn’t be better — a charming, walkable town with easy access to great restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. The space was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and feel at home. My wife and I along with our dog Hank had a fabulous stay! This historic home has it all. The location is perfect for strolling to downtown NB. The home itself was spotless and was stocked with anything you might need for your stay. The layout is perfect for 4 people who would have their own private sleeping and bath spaces. We used the kitchen which had everything needed to provide a great cooking experience. Our dog Hank loved the enclosed backyard and deck area. We stay at a lot of Airbnb’s and this home in every respect is a 10/10. Our host Tonyia was very proactive with all communication and was always available for any questions if needed. Yes, we are planning a return trip for our next visit to New Bern and will look forward to another stay in this wonderful historic home.

The decor was well updated but still had the character of the home. Owner had thought of all of the essentials. Beds were comfortable. For families with kids, the downstairs bedroom offered the.lm their own private space to hang out when they wanted.

This is probably one of my favorite air bnbs of all time. The home is absolutely beautiful, unique, and historical. It was perfect for my anniversary trip with my husband. We would LOVE to stay here again! Also, we were able to walk everywhere!
